This painting has this strong mountain lion resting on a rock looking as if he could come right out of the picture. That's my goal. I spent the day with this fellow in Moab last year and the moment of this image was priceless. The sun was setting, a storm had just passed, the rocks were alive! My cougar here had played all evening in front of me and my fellow photographers and had decided to take a rest. Wow. That's all we could say or think. I hope you find this moment as beautiful as I did.
